Hunter's Safety Classes

Safety is the Priority

The Ottawa County Sheriffs Department and Tulip City Rod & Gun Club will be offering Hunter Safety Classes. Students under 11 years old must be accompanied by a parent. The Classes teach firearms safety, platform safety, hunting ethics, hunting laws, and a lot more. The class does involve some hands-on testing and exercises. Parents are encouraged to come and participate along with their sons and daughters.

Class size is limited to 20 students. And is on a first-come basis.

Class dates will be listed on our calendar.

Classroom instruction to be held at Holland Charter Township Fire Station on Riley Street (Riley St. and 136th Ave). Hands on testing and range time to be held at Tulip City Rod & Gun Club (136th Ave, 1/2 mile north of Quincy St).

 

Cost $10 per student (all proceeds go directly to hunter education supplies).
